It's Cold Outside

Here's a visual diary of our most recent trip to Hong Kong.

Some photos I managed to snap the last time I was in Hong Kong. Believe it or not, this is already about 90% of the travel photos I got to take, because shopping demands my full, undivided attention, of course! Haha! I can't be bothered to lug around 3-5 extra pounds of photography equipment when the energy expended to bring around said equipment can be used to carry two more pairs of shoes. (Ehe, I am such a girl sometimes!) Plus, it was difficult enough to navigate the busy city streets while avoiding getting completely soaked because of the weather; the last thing I would've wanted was for the camera to get wet, especially when the autofocus on the kit lens is already broken. (which is why some of the photos above are blurry, hehe)

But ah, there is the existence of the smartphone! I may be the last in my family without an iPhone and a decent phone camera but that hasn't stopped me from abusing maximizing family privileges, teehee. :D Photos I took from the trip that I posted on my IG below (Trivia: I used to be an Instagram hater for the longest time, but I have grown to appreciate it all the same.)

Life in 4x4

December so far has been messy - quite literally, as we've been doing a lot of spring (or winter?) cleaning at home. Being the huge sentimentalist that I am, you can imagine that letting go of old memorabilia - post it notes, movie tickets, and whathaveyou - would be like pulling teeth, but not this time. I'm of the belief that there ain't nothin' like the sound of a digital trash can being emptied out, so I just applied the cold ruthlessness in deleting files on my computer to real life. Quit with all the unnecessary nostalgia and attachment to clutter; it's the memories that count, at the end of the day.  Now that we're on the topic of memories and because I have no visuals to accompany this post, here's a dump of some of the photos I've posted on Instagram over the past few months.  When my family went to Calatagan / Pizza. Every single day.  Beef brisket noodles from Shi Lin (great now I'm hungry) / ice cream happiness / and Bianca...

Rainy School Days

I don't know what it is about school lately but every week's more dull than the last. Maybe I'm just exhausted from the everyday grind.
